WALMIR SECCHI
A dancer and musician specialized in Latin and Neo-latin dancing.

Choreography director of Cia Latinu's, performing shows at the principal theaters, events, night clubs, auditoriums and TV programs.

As a teacher and the director of CDL, a specialist in partner dancing, Walmir Secchi, being one of the first to divulge Latin dance in Brazil, has developed this work for more than 10 years and has graduated more than 5 thousand students in Brazil and abroad. He has received 2 awards: "Troféu Imprensa – Paraná" for his outstanding performance in the artistic and cultural fields in 1997 and 1998.

Among his students there are people from 4 to 80 years old and from different social and cultural status but with the predominance of adults, either professionals or amateurs.

His methodology is based on Nature's elements (dominion, freedom, improvisation), which respects the body's limits of the body. It is called: "Latin Dance, natural evolution".

He gives lectures and workshops at schools, universities, national and multi-national companies about the Latin dance and its use as an instrument to improve people's lives and relationships. He also talks about the relationship between abilities and difficulties of dancing and its influence on a person's emotional, professional and social life.

He has given courses in the states of Bahia, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Paraná. He has also presented his work abroad, as follows: Havana, Varadero (Cuba), Caracas (Venezuela), Montevideu (Uruguai), Santiago (Chile) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
